Narrogin is located just 197 kms or 2 hours’ drive from both Perth and Bunbury. Narrogin has the charm and strong community base of a rural town, whilst having the amenities of a large regional centre, including a recently upgraded multi-million-dollar regional hospital facility, three primary schools, several day care centres, a senior high school and a senior agricultural college (both with residential facilities). We boast 3 large hotels and an extensive array of eateries and shopping amenities, as well as a multi-million-dollar regional leisure centre and a sporting complex with state-of-the-art facilities, including an indoor olympic swimming pool and an international standard hockey turf. The town also has an extensive local library service and a multitude of arts, entertainment and community groups. This idyllic location is well renowned for its stunning rural landscapes, diverse bushlands, natural waterways, ancient rock formations and unique native flora and fauna. Centrally situated and en-route to many popular wineries and tourist destinations of the Great Southern and the stunning beaches of the South West, from Kalgoorlie to Hyden and Esperance, Albany to Denmark and Pemberton, then Collie, Bunbury and Busselton and the Margret River Region, all are easily accessible within just a few hours’ drive. Enjoy the professional diversity and challenges of private general practice, as well as local hospital rotations in General Admissions or the Emergency Department, or regular clinics within our two local aged care facilities. Narrogin also hosts the Rural Clinical School of WA and our Practice actively supports and facilitates its medical students, as well as nursing students from the Southwest Regional TAFE.
